Mission: Impossible Fallout Has Screened, Heres What People Are Saying
The Mission: Impossible franchise has become one of Hollywood's most consistent action properties over the course of the last two decades, with Tom Cruise regularly delivering amazing stunt work and some visceral spy action. Now audiences all over the world are gearing up for the release of Mission: Impossible - Fallout, and it sounds like the film will not disappoint. In fact, CinemaBlend's own Sean O'Connell got a chance to screen the movie today, and his reaction says it all: you won't want to miss this one. It sounds like Mission: Impossible - Fallout isn't perfection, but still definitely delivers. As Sean noted in his response, the action is apparently fantastic, and it will leave audiences wondering how director Chris McQuarrie was able to pull off some of its biggest sequences. Not only that, but Sean seems to think that the pairing of Tom Cruise and Justice League actor Henry Cavill is a huge win for the franchise as a whole.
Of course, Sean wasn't the only one who got a chance to watch Mission: Impossible - Fallout. Collider's Steven Weintraub also had the opportunity to watch the movie, and his reaction echoes much of what Sean had to say about the film. Moreover, he also notes in his reaction that the bathroom fight teased by the trailers is just as good as many of us were hoping it would be. Weintraub wrote:
Then there's Fandango's Erik Davis, who homed in on the fact that Mission: Impossible - Fallout arguably has the best finale of any installment in the series, and that this film stands out against movies like Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 as the best blockbuster of the summer.
